Sweet Little Shop is a family-owned candy and gift store located in Indiana, PA. Discover nostalgic favorites, novelties, candy bars, fudge, sodas or fill a bag with our 10-cent candy. You can even create your own custom gummy mix— there’s always something special to satisfy your sweet tooth!
Sweet Little Shop believes candy isn’t just a treat—it’s a story, a memory, a moment worth savoring. We enjoy hearing our customers share their favorite childhood memories of rushing to the corner candy store with their spare change and also enjoy seeing the excitement of our youngest customers getting the chance to create memories of their own.
Who We Are
The vision for Sweet Little Shop was inspired by owner Theresa Kinneer’s dream to create a welcoming environment for her oldest daughter, Annie who is on the autism spectrum, to find meaningful employment after high school.
After an extensive search for the right opportunity, Theresa found the perfect location—a welcoming, quaint, and cozy cottage-style storefront on Philadelphia Street. “We will forever remember our opening day of October 19, 2024 which also happened to be national “Sweetest Day”.
“I wanted to create a space that not only celebrates the joy of candy but also provides a supportive environment for my daughter and others in our community,” said Theresa Kinneer. “Sweet Little Shop is a family project and I’m so proud of how my youngest daughter, Lizzie, has contributed to our marketing efforts and the overall setup of the store.” My husband Jim Kinneer has been my biggest supporter and I could not have done it without him.
